Lakaffa Q1 sales revenues hit record highs. Q2 optimistic.

The chain dining group La Kaffa (2732) has benefited from global layout and M&A benefits. The consolidated sales revenue of March 2018 was 273 million, 19.03% MoM and 43.63% YoY, which is a new high in the same period. The accumulated consolidated sales revenue of Q1 was 793 million, 12.9 QoQ and 50.81% YoY, which hit a record high.

La Kaffa said Chatime has expanded into global territory successfully in Europe, US, and Asia. And the cooperation with Taisun Enterprise to launch packaged beverages, has hit the store shelves at the more than ten thousand convenience stores.  The profitability of the strategic equity cooperation with Re Light has started. All these driven the first quarter of combined revenues hit a record high.

Chatime has new stores opened in first quarter in Paris (France), Perth (Australia), London (UK), Sultanate of Oman, Ginza (Japan), Yokohama (Japan), Daegu (Korea), including well-known attractions such as the French Printemps and the Avenuedes Champs-Élysées, which may attract global traveler consuming.

In addition, the cooperation with Taisun Enterprise to launch Cha Street “brand roast milk tea”, which is our first packaged handmade beverage, has hit the store shelves at more than ten thousand convenience stores. The effect brought by merging with Re Light in China, the "Heilongtang" and " GOMAX", which were incorporated into the business map, also showed a rapid growth in revenue.

Looking forward, La Kaffa said that in the second quarter, the warmed climate brings the peak season of tea market. "Chatime" will speed up global expansion as well as festival activities driving consumption. It is expected that the global revenues will continue to grow. At the same time, taking advantage of the cooperation with Re Light in China , we will expand stores of "Heilongtang" and "GOMAX" in the first-tier cities in China, which will enhance the momentum of growth.
